Mazafati Date Season 2025: Early Harvest Expected in August

Warm spring temperatures in Bam and Jiroft regions indicate an early harvest, potentially beginning late July — two weeks ahead of the typical August schedule.

Field surveys conducted by our agronomists across Bam, Jiroft, and Kahnouj — Iran's primary Mazafati production zones — indicate that palm flowering occurred 10–14 days earlier than the five-year average. This points to a harvest commencement around late July to early August 2025. Buyers are advised to submit pre-season orders by June 15 to secure allocation. Total estimated production is 85,000–90,000 MT, broadly in line with last year.
